  1. It is not low pressure switch at rear side comp.. it's ECV

  2. My a/c is not blowing cold. With manifold gauges I tested for leaks. Found a leak in each Shrader valve. Replaced the valves. I was surprised when my local Auto Zone gave me the two for free! Checking now to make sure the system holds pressure over night. If so, I guess my next step is to test all the a/c components? Love your videos and because of them I have hope that I'll be able to diagnose and fix any problem I find. Thanks so much from this 69 year old young lady in north Idaho!

  3. Drive 600 km yesterday. Aircon wasn't working. Switch is faulty. Prayed all the way.

  4. Will this switch cause the fan to run for 3 minutes after truck is off?

  5. thank you for a great a lecture!

  6. Will this cause lines to freeze ?

  7. Great insights! My chevy spark auto climate ac only blows cool air when blower is set to 1 and 2, post 2 the compressor disengages and obviously only blows hot air. Could you please help me with this situation? I have already changed blower resister controller

  8. Calling all Honda insight and CR-V owners.
There was a national recall on an AC condenser part. If your AC is blowing warm air , it is most likely a FAULTY CONDENSER.

I took my 2019 insight to the dealership , and they suspected a faulty condenser. Replaced for FREE WITH FREE REFRIGERANT

  9. This man should explain everything. He has a gift. Thank you!

  10. On my Toyota Tacoma I turn the AC on and it stays cold for 5-10 minutes than the AC light starts flashing and stops blowing cold. Could the switch be the problem?

  11. This was very helpful. My 2013 Audi Q5 suddenly lost AC. I first tried to get a recharge can but AC pressure in the line was good. I did the multimeter test on the high pressure switch and got no continuity. I swapped this part out for a real German part ($80) and replaced it within five minutes. My car has a built-in check valve and that held in the refrigerant while I swapped out the switch. AC is back again without having to go to Audi Service unit and face a potential large diagnostic and replacement cost. Very much appreciated!!

  12. Absolutely love your videos! Thank you sir..

  13. so, if there's no connectivity bad pressure switch? An if so, does Hyundai have a check valve in it?

  14. Thanks for being honest and helping us, look up Universal Salvation God saves all eventually.

  15. Simple, to the point, and well explained. Good video! Thank you!

  16. Thank you for your video, I tried to take my ac high pressure switch off and as soon as I started to turn it off it started leaking high pressure, I tightened it back up, my question, is their a Schrader valve inside of the high pressure switch causing that to leak out like that?

  17. Kind of stupid to use a 3 or 4 wire switch when its just an open or close contact.

  18. The flaw to the continuity switch test is a partial failure where the high side switch opens at less than prescribed high pressure. These switches are not expensive so replacement makes sense as long as u use a quality replacement part. I recently replaced a thermistor. The replacement had an impedance of 6.8 ohms when cold whereas the original was only 6.6 ohms. Cheap replacement parts can drive you crazy.

  19. Who was the freaking idiot who decided to a pressure switch in there?

  20. Where does Red find the time to do these videos and sticking his foot up Eric's ass all the time

  21. After chnging car battery ac playing dead. Ive reconnected battery. Same. Checked relay and fuse. Same. Next ill go over preasure switches and wack on the clutch. Voltage is at the relay. Not sure yet if its getting to compressor. Hope cpu control not fried due to car battery replacemwnt.

  22. Great tutorial. Right to the point and precise.

  23. Great info, though if a multimeter isn't handy you can simply turn the car and AC on and unplug the low or high side plug and jump the (+)(-) sides with a wire. If the AC compressor turns on then you know you have a faulty pressure sensor/switch. But only do this for a few seconds or for testing purposes not as a bypass to make your AC work.

  24. Thanks to this video, I fixed my a/c. After watching, I went outside and found my high pressure switch, only to find that it was UNPLUGGED! Now I know why it stopped working 2 years ago after having work done at a ma and pa Toyota shop! Unbelievable. No, BELIEVABLE! πŸ€ πŸ‘πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈEdited: I forgot I had work done at a Dealership, also. That’s probably when it happened!

  25. How can I check if 2006 Pontiac vibe has a low pressure check valve?

  26. It's not a switch. It's a presure sensor. It sends a signal which is then used to control the compressor.

  27. thank you so much for the helpful tutorial

  28. Super helpful! Thank you πŸ™

  29. Thank you for clarifying this.
I tried to fill my neices 94 TBird, and thr shrader valve seal broke, leaked coolant.
Refilled, but compressor clutch is not engaging. πŸ™
    Blowing hot.
Maybe I need to check these switches.

  30. Thank you very much! I didn't understand the conclusion, mine has three connections. When the car is off, is it good for continuity or not??

  31. On two and four wire systems are the extra lines sense /signal wires? Another video mentioned how most of the time they are sensors not switches these days. But if two of the pins are low to 0 ohms… Sounds like there's still a switch in there

  32. Thanks I have fixed car ac problems most were overcharged. 2000 Montero sport 160,000 miles sitting under a tree 3 years. Evaporator coil was dirty now I add freon and net day low side is high. Same ambient temperature temperature. It cools but not well. Have interior apart for better cleaning. Fan is extremely loud at high speed in cabin. Took blower and fan out, over 1/8 " end play . Also squeaking noise when I turn the motor by hand when pressure is applied away from the motor not loud. Oiled the felt at the rear bushing seems to help. About to clean the fan .

  33. I have a 2003 camry p01135 bank 1s1, p01155 Bank2 sensor1 πŸ˜‚. Ive looked at different videos and is this the same sensor or two different??? V6 please and thanks.
Im looking to buy from rock auto i just dont know how many or which.

  34. very well explained. thank you kind sir

  35. Any suggestions for a compressor failing to spin after moving the vehicle? It will click but refuse to spin. When driving – once a sweet spot is hit the compressor runs fine

    Fans running
    50/250 psi
    93Β°F ambient
    13v at compressor
    New Pressure switches

  36. So both switches have to be closed for a/c to work . Both must have continuity to be closed . Fixin to try it.!ΒΏπŸ˜…πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜’πŸ’¦β€ΌοΈπŸ’₯πŸ’©πŸŽΆπŸ˜›πŸ˜ŽπŸ΅πŸ§ πŸ‘ΆπŸΏπŸ€ŒπŸ»βœŒοΈπŸ«΅πŸ»πŸ‘ŽπŸ»πŸ‘πŸ‘ŽπŸ»πŸ‘ŠπŸ»πŸ‘€πŸ‘οΈπŸ—£οΈπŸ‘†πŸΎπŸ–•πŸ½Bung hole hope this tells me somfin.
