We have 5 of these NEC G266 handsets in the shop, and iv had to repair every single one over the years.
The main problem with them is the ringer no longer working, this is always due to metal getting caught in the speaker. Just like in this one.
A very simple phone to pop open and repair, but not cheap to replace.

You remind me of my old man.. he could fix absolutely anything. Sadly heโs no longer here so Iโm going to have to ask you this.. i have a bomag 15/45 wacker plate and the exciter has started to sometimes stop working whilst at full revs. Belt seems to be tight enough so Iโm thinking it needs a bit of grease pumping in there. My question is.. how do i know when thereโs enough in there? I dont want to overfill it
Love your vids by the way.. currently watching you change the bearings in an old makita beam planer ๐
Itโs an upgrade on the tin cans and string๐. ๐๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ
At least easy to get into to repair.
Is there anything you can't fix ๐๐
Lad, you're a wizard
If that didn't end up fixing it I would have been trying the Plasma Cutter on it. ๐คฃ
Nice example of bad engineering. It would cost them 0.001 cent to solder it to the board or use a tiny conector. If they can save a cent on a bad supplier cap or mosfet they will do it
I didn't know you were able to do that.
Nice
