If your Asus fonepad or your android tablet’s battery is fully drained out and you are not able to put it back on. Thanks for posting this. It worked! I just got a non-starting tablet working. I would suggest to anyone opening a tablet to use multiple old bank/credit or phone sim plastic cards to wedge open the edges of the tablet whilst you gently prise open the adjacent section as this stops it "closing behind you". Avoid using only your fingernails; Some tablets flex more than others and you can break your screen.
I charge it to 100% and next day it's down to 40% with it off. Have slaved other batteries and same thing. It's a tab E 8.0. What can be wrong with it? PMIC?
if you turned it on after unplug&plug-in IT MEANS IT WASN'T DRAINED….
