  1. I say, when cars cold, flop a leaf blowr on exaust pipe & blow, then hold up something w/smoke around all these spots – free, & no ugly clean up✋

  2. straight to the point and easy to understand, great video

  3. Interesting video, like the way u went through step by step and pointed out parts when naming them, big help for a simpleton like me that knows nothing about cars… question, could i just take soapy water, spray it on there and c if bubbles r coming from somewhere, wouldn't that give me an idea as to where it's leaking, at least if it's a hose leaking, maybe not if it's a valve leaking

  4. What if the vehicle is running just fine but still has lean codes…thanks?

  5. Very simple to learn from. A sincere teacher. Love his “no nonsense” approach…

  6. Good info. I bought a car with a known bad egr and put a new one on. The result was still erratic cold start revs but at warm ran like silk. Took car for a test drive and wow the whistle of big vacuum leak. I think it is the silly Idea of rubber rings and plastic upper intake manifolds on V6 engines.

  7. Great video! I am about to put it to use on a Toyota Rav4. Starting with cleaning the MAF sensor as the vehicle has 100k+ miles.
    Thanks for the education!

  8. So where's the part you show how to find a leak easily?

  9. Decent videos get about 1% likes per view. This has about 1.4%. It deserves 5%.

  11. Your video was more helpful then all the other 20 I watched
I know nothing about bac systems and now I do thank you

  12. Not bad tips but none of these worked for me…. I even went out and bought a fancy smoke machine that worked better but didn't find all leaks… I got a tip from different youtuber with that I was able to find the leak and didn't cost me nothing… all with parts I already have around the house that best…

  13. buy a 50 dollar fog machine.. hook it to your intake. bam smoke test. vacuum leak found

  14. My cars idle is rough only when it gets up to optimal operating temperature. It runs beautifully cold. Should I smoke it after it watms up?

  15. How would you fix a p2187 code. Symptoms are rough idle, hesitation and hissing noise when ac is on?

  16. Excellent video,
Question when smoke testing intake manifold for leak,
Do I have to set to TDC. or not? Reason for my question.
On my 1999 lexus RX 300 while smoke testing I get smoke from oil dip stick & oil cap, when I smoke test it.
