Find My Shop Tools in my Amazon Store: https://www.amazon.com/shop/komarproject
This video shows how I installed my Mr. Cool Mini Split unit to get air conditioning and heat into my shop. The best part about this split unit is that its DIY friendly and anyone can install. My workshop, which is also my garage is 750 sqft, and this 24K split unit cools the space in no time and keeps the temperature at comfortable levels with ease. It is also a smart unit which means I can control everything from temperature, humidity and even schedules from my phone. Hope you guys enjoy this installation video, and if you have any questions for me feel free to put them in the comments section below.

  1. Superior job. You explained things perfectly. I loved the ladder trick !

  2. Great video ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  3. ๐Ÿซฃ ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿ˜ฒ ๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ˜‰ You Ok? Welcome to my world of being clumsy! ๐Ÿ’ฏ

Sorry brother, you did a great job! ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ’ฏ

  4. what size breaker did you use?

  5. Do these units heat rooms well?

  6. You've had the unit now for about 3 years. Any complaints or problems?

  7. Did you get a new ladder?
Iโ€™m going to get a 12000 size and am wondering if it comes will all the tools your unit had. Iโ€™m guessing not. Also, can you plug the smaller one into a wall outlet?
    Take care

  8. My MrCool broke down 3 times in less than a year. China crap. Warranty sucks

  9. Wow! You got lucky asf!! How's the unit holding up three years later?

  10. Finally got it up and running. The only delays we had was because we realized we needed some extra parts (Iโ€™ll list that below) https://www.youtube.com/post/UgkxihMYiJNXcHdbH-7ihymsLz61l7jVyb5O . So we have a loft where our current hvac just couldnโ€™t seem to keep cool during the summer. We have been using a window unit since we bought this house over 6 years ago (all the houses in this neighborhood were built in the 80โ€™s and majority of the houses built like ours use a window unit). I hate window units because they are just so noisy and the one we had really only cools one side of the loft. I had contemplated upgrading our current HVAC, but with all the rising prices these days, it would take years before saving up enough to do that. With the advice of my father-in-law (used to run an HVAC business), he recommended we get an inverter instead. We thought we bought everything we needed, but there were just a few other parts we didnโ€™t anticipate needing (which is what caused most of our delay). My friend and father-in-law did all the work to get it installed and running and now we have nice cool air circulating nicely throughout the entire loft. It is very quiet and even the outside unit is much quieter than our main HVAC unit. Saved ourselves thousands getting this.

  11. At least you left it in the video I hope your ok

  12. Never laughed so hard ๐Ÿ˜‚

  13. Thank you for leaving the fall and rubber mistake part in the video, tells how real you are about teaching folks and not just to show off perfection. You my friend are great and have an absolute sense of humor that made the video more fun to watch, I want to say Iโ€™ve learned a lot from you thatโ€™s not just a mini split hook up. โคโค

  14. Great video! Helped me a lot to install it! You are awesome and I hope you did not suffer any injuries from your fall. Stay safe

  15. Great video, are you happy with the unit after a couple years' service?

  16. Yes it's good you kept the fall in the video, because doing any job, well sometimes it hurts.i was doing some work in the attic of a home, hooking up a bathroom fan and light, the area was so small I had to really reach to get there.
When I moved up a little my head kept hitting the roofing nails and my arms git to cut too.
So when I came down from a 130 degree attic I looked like I was in a war zone.๐Ÿ˜ฎ

  17. What a great video. You just teach everything. Never thought I needed a concrete slab for the outside unit which is the first thing Iโ€™ll do now before the A/C technician arrives. Thank you for sharing this.

  18. So are you just rolling up the extra cooling lines behind the mini split? You are insanely lucky with that fall. I did that same thing last year, ladder pulled off my shoe and I came straight down on concrete and shattered my heel bone. Basically crippled for life, 2 surgeries and now I get the good parking spots but donโ€™t recommend getting 7 pins and a steel plate for a parking place up front. Anyway would like to know on the lines

  19. I give that fall a 10! Congrates!! ๐Ÿ˜‚
