  19. i'm 22, still a student. i have plenty of time but i still think i don't have enough time and that's not true. Procrastination's been draining me crazy amount of time while i just want to be reasonable good at something like (playing piano, creating phonk music, dance slickback, write a program to optimise my spare time…) i need to be good enough not want to be an expert. And this video is Eye-Opening for me.

The research actually shows that initial practice is highly efficient in skill acquisition, and the focus should be on improvement rather than the amount of time spent.

The 20-Hour Rule: Efficient Learning and Improvement
With practice, one can become proficient in a skill in a relatively short amount of time.
