hey guys, here’s how to solve Secure Boot option grayed out in UEFI mode or unable to disable secure boot. Actually, this not any huge problem, you need to follow some simple steps in your PC’s UEFI settings to activate the Secure Boot option. Watch this video for more information.

  2. Here the problem is boot mode greyed out at UEFI. I cant change the mode how ever secure boot option can be changed. Acer aspirre 7 i512th gen.also boot priority has only one option which is windows boot manager. I was migrating os other ssd since it hs two nvme ports.

  3. I have a HP COMPAQ PRO 6300 SFF
    It's asking me for a password to get into bios
    I type an incorrect password 3 times to get into bios
    But once im in bios i cannot change boot order because it's grayed out
    (My ultimate goal is im trying to move win 10 from hdd to ssd but AFTER i do that im going to need to be able to access the boot order right?)
    Oh and btw i already reset the cmos and pressed the cmos reset button several times and it still asks for password

  8. Thanks, amazingly helpful. Before watching your presentation I wasted a lot of time because I didn't know that not having a password would stop me from disabling secure boot. I wrongly imagined that I had a faulty uefi/bios as the computer wouldn't start soon after a win 11 upgrade.

  26. Hi. I have an Acer aspire ES1-732 with 4 GB ram. I wanted to replace my win 10 operating system with win 7. It hangs horribly on everything the processor usage is constantly 100% spun up. I turned off the tpm et the secure boot went grey the uefi tab is not selectable. Whatever I do I cannot install from usb or disk. Can you advise me what the problem could be ? I've tried everything to reset it but the uefi remains greyed out any tips ? F12 boot menu does not give any boot options either. Thanks in advance for your help.
