  1. Mower won't push forward with this method, but I am glad to know this in the future

  2. I've been looking for awhile

  3. D0 u know how to adjust the self propelled on a commercial 30 exmark command pro I can't find nothing on it and I'm trying to help my grandfather fix his mower

  4. It worked! My mower had a "tighten" button that you keep swiping and it fixed the issue. Thank you!!!

  5. Thank you. My self propelled Lawn Boy was not propelling itself. Your video helped greatly.

  6. Great video! Thank you! It helped me out So Much! From 😞 to 😄 ✔

  7. Just did it took 30 secs works like new thanks

  8. As always, great video!

  9. I am going to adjust the cable bit I will make sure to get at least two sips in.

  10. Yeah looks like another good video but I haven't actually checked it out completely yet. Thanks man. Do you think some of these drive mechanisms are getting too complicated for their own good ?

  11. My Craftsman doesn't have one that you can tighten. It's just a bent piece of metal that acts as a hook. All of the cables are terminated at my handles/controls like that.

  12. Definitely just save me some money,i actually just pick up my machine from a shop and they couldn’t fix it but u just did smh

  13. I was 12 years old when I figured this out on my bicycle brakes.
I didn't even have to figure it out, it was too obvious.

  14. Thank you Steve! I was going to replace the belt before this video but a simple adjustment did the trick!

  15. Bravo!!! Thank you So much !!

  16. Thanks for the info! Going to try this on my mower

  17. Thanks! I'm going to try this now.

  18. How do you change the cable that damaged or cut

  19. I had known about this adjustment but quite frankly had forgotten about it. Very well done lesson.

  20. Third time you saved me this summer on a 2 yr old Honda GCV 160 Snapper self propelled mower. Ran into the lawn mower repair guy at Lowes asking where I’ve been this season. I said ,”I got a new man in my life helping me now.” He said, “Ohhhh.” Me: “His name is uh …Steve. Just Steve…Yeah”. Him: “Oh…well ok. That’s uh good. Have a good one.” Walks away. That was awkward. Thanks for helping a gal learn how to make many repairs with confidence. Saved again! 😊

  21. I been adjusting the cable on my awd self propelled mower and if I lift the rear wheels they’ll spin but the front wheels spin at all. Plus when I engage the cable I’m hearing a lot of clicks sounds like it’s slipping

  22. Thank you. My TroyBilt mower was a bit confusing. Tightening was pushing the wire out, meaning, stronger lever pull, more moving. I had it all backwards.

Now mowing uphill is stupid easy.

Btw. Someone disposed of this TroyBilt mower which I then found. Hehe. 😊

  23. I love you! You saved me money, time, and energy!

  24. I need to tighten the two gray hooks half way down so my handle will stay up

  25. You did good! I hope it works for me.

  26. Unfortunately this remedy doesn’t seem to work on my Snapper lawnmower.

  27. I have a problem with my Husqvarna. I will drive. I got the all wheel drive working, but it’s making a noise in front of the two tires, crackling noise.

  28. Thanks that worked like a charm.

  29. I found this adjustment screw by accident when my mower wouldn’t engage and works wonderfully now. Great videos.

  30. Mine is the opposite problem it won't shut off ..just keeps moving even when leaver is let go. any idea?

  31. Looking how to replace the cable that propels the mower. The spring is broke 5:14

  32. Hey, Steve, you rock ! This simple task that you just described has saved me not just money but also a lot of time if I think of the Small Engine Repair guys here putting me in the wait-list for the time being. Thank You !✌️

  33. PERFECT VIDEO SIR YOU SAVED ME A LOT OF MONEY

  34. So… I immediately came in from struggling with my mower for the last time. It was" I can fix it or I must buy another because there is no one within 110 miles that will" time. Your video answered my question and literally less than 5 minutes later, here I am to say it is fixed and adjusted to pull the mover out of my hands. Triple tanks from this
    69 year old lady 🙂

  35. 2 sips of P. A B. 2 trips to the toilet.
