Mine turns on the TV but the google tv is like black screen, I have to reset everytime, very anoying
sound kind of stops for a millisecond or less, every 10-20 seconds, especially Plex, Jellyfin Youtube and Netflix. Everything possible has been tried, 7 million restarts, re-installs, even reinstalled windows 10, even bought a new router, tried also to add a switch instead, added lan-cables (cat.6), and added a USB-hub, but it's the same no matter I use wifi or cable, and bought another Chromecast with google tv, it is still the same. The problem started last autumn, before that everything worked perfect… The funny weird thing is, everything also Plex and Jellyfin streams works fine on my android phone. Where can I buy a 72inch Android phone to hang on the wall?
My onscreen keyboard is frozen…any advice?

I can't get to the home screen/settings it shows a blank screen. Rebooted by unplugging and nothing. I can use voice commands to open apps but I can't use my phone or the remote to open the home screen. It doesn't load at all.

I am having a problem with the audio not syncing up with the video on most apps. Haven’t been able to find any fixes for this and have tried rebooting the device, clearing app caches and force stopping apps. I have an excellent wifi connection as well so I’m not entirely sure what the problem could be.

I’m having frustrating issues with the Tubi app, but only with my Chromecast with Google TV device. When I try to play something, it brings up the right thing, but is “stuck” at the beginning. Never advances even 1 second into the movie. Other apps work as they should. Checked for updates (Its up to date), removed and reinstalled app multiple times and rebooted device multiple times. The Tubi app works fine on my Apple TV 4K. The problem is very specific to the Tubi app on the Chromecast device. Any ideas (other than watching Tubi on Apple TV)?
I would add this. When you have a power outage it screws with the time date system information it kicks you off the grid so to speak so you have to go in and reset the date the time and the region where were you were in the correct time mode once you fix that then you’re gonna be able to access your Wi-Fi and get your apps up and running but that’s the only way I could get back by resetting all of that information. It had nothing to do with the password it has to do with date and time in the system. Good luck
somehow I can't add multiple streaming services to my Chromecast with google Tv, so I can't get recommendations… I can only add Netflix and Primevideo. I have HBO Max, Disney+ subscription too and these are installed on the Google TV, but they don't appear in the my services list in the settings. I tried to reinstall these apps but it didn't work. I even tried factory reset but these apps still don't appear. Do you know what could cause this? Maybe it's a region issue?
This thing is sooo buggy. Youtube app keeps telling me i cant use my account and need to switch accounts. When i power up i have to power cycle 2 or 3 times normally before anything comes up on the screen. sometimes remote or phone works to control it and sometimes not. I miss my apple tv to be honnest.

my computer can't control chromecast when watching Netflix. It syncs but I lose all computer controles, i.e.: can't control sound, won't sync to current time if I forward or rewind, just starts from the beginning and that's it. Such a waste of time. Its really only with one device and room specific, one I had to register with Google Home to make it work at all.
Time and date on my device keeps going back to 6 AM and 12 OCT 2021 each time the device is restarted or turned OFF and back ON. When this happens, I run into issues with internet connection until the date and time is correctly reset manually. I wonder why the date and time doesn't stay set.

Turned my Chromecast in due to freezing issues despite constantly clearing cache. Never had to reboot my Apple TVs or Roku due to freezing. Found the Chromecast's UI easy to navigate and will miss the rarely found 'Input' button on the remote.

I have a USB 3.0 flash drive for additional storage. But when I restart Chromecast TV, the USB stick is unmounted and the apps don't load. Do you know how to correct that error?
