My lawn sweeper wasn’t working as good as it used to and I’m going to show you how I fixed it. Plus, I’m going to share some tips to help you avoid this problem in the future. Cleaning up leaves in the fall can be a lot of work but a lawn sweeper can help cut the time down immensely. Lawn sweepers are my favorite leaf clean up tools and I’d highly recommend one to someone with a large yard.

  1. Make sure to check out my video about the lawn sweeper itself, it’s the best way to pick up leaves in a large yard.

  2. Thanks for the helpful advice. I just picked up the same sweeper for my fall cleanup and it has been great. Mind sharing the link to the replacement wheels? Thanks!

  3. Is there even a relationship between favorite and leaves? Okay, maybe the first day is fun with sweepers, blowers and rakes and seeing that beautiful green clean grass at the end. Only to wake up the next day to see it looks like you did nothing. It gets really old after about a month of repeat. However, to answer your question, I think for me this year what seemed to work best was combination of collecting with the rear baggers, raking out where I couldn't get close and sweeping seemed to get the chopped up branches that were left behind. I do think my favorite way ended up being to use the leaf blower though and I even tried a couple of different types of stationary mulches to clean up the piles afterwards. I think the snow we got here finally knocked the rest of the leaves off and when it melted, well, back to square one, hopefully this wind we now have will dry them out and blow them into piles for ne. That would be my ultimate favorite way!
