I just noticed the positioning of the wires. Mine has the red on top and blue on the bottom. I ran it both ways and it worked both times. Guess it'll work in either position to make it dummy proof is my guess. Thank you for the informative video, useful knowledge to pass on to my kids.

Thank You! Despite replacing the belt a couple years ago this video cut my disassembly time in half and probably saved me at least an hour in trouble shooting. My problem ended up being the thermal fuse.

My grandson just received a replacement heating element. I took apart the dryer, got to the heating element compartment and noticed the heating coil was not broken. The clothes are not drying at all. Also, to shut off the dryer, the door has to be opened. I cleaned the whole area where the drum was removed. Would welcome your advice on both issues please. Thank you very much
