easiest instruction Ive found thanks,but Im curious if I use my new ssd as new boot option when my pc load will all the apps ,files,folders and everything not show? (I have HDD btw) I have new ssd I just want to use it as new boot option to easily boot my pc whenever I open it and also install some games for much faster loading….pls help

I've installed my new SSD and went to disk management but it doesn't pop up there,
But it shows it's connected in control panel?
Thank you! I just installed my first SSD myself. I tucked it in housing where was space for 3,5" SSD but as it's laying still I don't need bracket for 2,5". Thank you. This was helpful. I mean I knew about allocation, just wanted to know about cables.
It was Super Straight forward! i do have one issue tho. When going into my disk managment it reads the ssd as normal but i dont get the poppup where you are able to initialize disk.
Perfect! I was able to pop in a new SSD to my pc with no problems thanks to this guide.
I'm pleased to find this to be as straightforward as I thought, but always better to check with someone who knows what they're talking about before I go poking around my machine without really knowing what I'm doing with it haha.
Thanks, as someone who's comfortable enough with software and the PC specs themselves, but pretty clueless when it comes to touching the actual hardware, (I've always had someone else help in that department) this helped greatly and gave me the confidence to perhaps upgrade some other parts in the future.
