  3. So it was all going well on my install until I used a T tip plug to try to link my postive and negative rear reversing light calbes to the rear view camera.
    Now I think I may have damanged the cable on the reversing light as it doesn't turn on..luckily I have another working reversing light. Not too sure what to do currently..

  4. I have installed a rear view camera in my vehicle. I have made all of the connections that you've described with the exception of the trigger wire on the radio end. When I put the vehicle in reverse the screen changes on the radio but I have no picture. If I connect the the red wire from the RCA cable will that fix my problem? TIA for your help!!   6. If you have it set to where you can turn the camera on with radio will the light on the camera stay on even when your not viewing the camera

  7. You could also connect it to you regular tail light because they are always on

  8. Does the rca wire and the 2 red wires have to hooked up or is just one or the other? I hope you get back to me. I just hooked one up and I got no picture. I have the rca and the 2 red wires hooked up at the same time right now

  10. I hooked up a camera to my stereo unit in my car. The camera lights are coming on, but on the screen it says no signal. But I hooked the wire off the stereo unit to the red wire on the video input like you are suppose to. Can someone help me with the issue?

  12. Hey question here, if you wire for constant power so you can view wo being in reverse. Will the back up cameras lights always be on?

    How do you then trigger the lights to light up for reverse

Hi i just used your torital on my car to fit a new headbuinit and rear camera an i had a slight diffrent set up on the head unit inused your layout to fit it an it works like a dream i just laid it out and sorted it copying your plan also most these head units its a pink wire that you conect to the red wire at the headunit . Many thanks šŸ˜‚
