I don't know if WB allowing Zack to finish his ZSJL story would ever persuade me to watch another theatrical action comedy cbm made by them (or anyone for that matter), but it would certainly get rid of the nasty taste in my mouth that makes me want to avoid ANY new DC movie made by them. That story needs to be finished. I say that as a comic book fan since the late seventies who finally got what he was looking for in live action with the early DCEU. Having seen where they were headed with ZSJL, it's an actual sin that we didn't get a conclusion to a saga of that magnitude.
I watched the Justice is Gray version of Snyder's Justice League, and I enjoyed it way more than the original. Steppenwolf looks more metallic and biomechanical. I highly recommend it if you haven't seen it.
Trust of the fans? The "fans" need to get over themselves – DC movies aren't made exclusively for them, they need to appeal to non/casual fans as well. What DC does need to do is not continue with the ridiculous amount of dated CGI that we got from Snyder.

Tbh, they've left me so bitter and angry about how they treated Zach, Affleck and Cavill that I'd rather see them drown and die as a company than create succesful movies.
Snyder hinted at the direction he wanted to go in Justice League. He later confirmed in an interview. He was going to have Superman brainwashed by Darkseid into killing a pregnant Lois Lane, then go to war with the Justice League after losing faith in humanity. THIS is what we want to see? Seriously? Is no one doing their research?
Zack is very clever, Marvell was doing it's thing and it was working and then he thought of a more darker DC (not to divert as DC was already dark) and he did excellent in bringing these characters to life. But what DC didn't understand is that people needed time to adjust and understand the new direction and that's why the movies weren't flopping at all and they rushed and subbotaged his projects by trying to make them like Marvel at a time when people were tired of what marvel was doing and everything went to crap. Now more movies and tv shows with darker characters are bringing money into companies like THE BOYS, INVINCIBLE etc but it started with zack but they rushed to crush his work.
I continue to boycott all DC content. I’m not giving WB a nickel. And will continue to boycott the James Gunn DC. That kid lover wants to control everything and primarily give his lackeys and family members work. Capitol Critters? Superman Legacy with a knock off Henry Cavill? Piece Maker? No thanx I’ll take a hard pass and will not allow my people to waste their money on this garbage. I still have no clue how people could actually like guardians 3, suicide squad, and the piece maker show. All garbage with clown shit story telling.
Superman: The Animated Series is the best on-screen adaption we'll ever have in our lifetime. As a fan base we should move on. I don't want to see that cast being rolled out again. We have to get fresh faces, new storylines.
Sydner was ahead of the curb. How's that Marvel formula working out? I grew up on Marvel comics vol 1s. Beyond the 2000s, the comics suck & this is the material that brought you Captain Marvel. It's not the quick brand, but the consistent consumer service that gets the $$$. Say what you will about sydner, but his movies have legs, and in the end, story wise, they are better than most Marvel Studio branded content.😊
The last few movies failed cuz they wanted dumb jokes like James Gunn's movie. They started all these dumb jokes when TSS came over to the DCEU. I don't want a MCU 2.0 over at DC.All these movies flopped in the box office, it started with TSS. Even though he wasn't the head yet, WBD wanted to go that route at the time.
If Netflix Gives Zack Synder the Opportunity to finish his Justice League trilogy that's great i would love that, but i also would love to see more good standalone movies of the main justice league members and Superman Legacy does not feel like a standalone movie with James Gunn adding all of these extra characters in it
You never hear Disney say "Ironman fans did not show up". They will point to the economy, or covid. Disney understands that their big money cones from th avengers movies. WB got finessed by the critics into believing that zack snyders DC fans were insignificant to DC films making money. But yet even the movies that flopped. Most of the sales were from snyderfans who didn't completely checkout from WB/DC all together. The ones who were still will to give them a chance. WB thought the latino community would show up and support blue beetle. Little to no Latinos showed up. They were mostly white Latinos in that film. I kinda feel sorry for James Gunn. He cannot admit that the fans are right, and he is cleaning up the regime before him mess.
