  1. Thanks man! Ive Been pouring salt all summeršŸ™ˆšŸ™ˆ

  2. After I cleaned with vinegar I disconnected the titanium plate cords to finish cleaning the plates. Does it matter which cable is connected when reassembling the plates?

  3. Thank you for this video. I bought a used pool that came with a saltwater system and the system is stuck on 92 but i know there's not too much salt. So im going to try this and i hope that's the only problem:)

  4. Heyā€¦great video. I have one of those
Combo systems and been getting that code 92 only once in a while. Not sure why it happens sometimes and not all the time. But Since the salt cell and eco cell is separate in my systemā€¦can I just soak them in vinegar in a separate container for the same outcome? Also, can there still be calcium buildup in the plates even if it isnā€™t visible? Thanks so much.

  5. Thank you for explaining this. I am grateful!

  6. I have the same salt water generator. Says needs service, any suggestions? Been cleaning the calcium deposits, but now…service. :/

I don't know how old your system was in this video, but it looked brand new. Mine never was clean. :/

  7. Hi. So Iā€™m wondering if there is a trick to loosening the plastic valve to unscrew it. Also where exactly do I put the white vinegar?

  8. my husband cleaned the calcium off…and it ran for a while ok; but now a day later it is reading 'low salt' again and we know it is now very high salt….Help! do we need to drain the pool and add water to dilute the salt content?

  9. I did this on mine , newer model and it didnt work at all salt level is right at 3000 , mine its brand new idk whats going on with it …

  10. This did not work for me. Iā€™m still getting the 91 indicator error. What would I do next?

  11. Thank you! Easy fix, worked perfectly.

  12. So, if I see the tiny bubbles coming from the titanium plates that means the chlorinator is working?

  13. Great video. I have tried many hints to get rid of LOW SALT error.

Nothing worked except permanently connect the cell to power, but downside is that automatic cell cleaning will not work and cooling fan will not work.

So I came up with my own solution – fake the salt level manually by adjustable resistor. This will keep all functions working and dismiss LOW/HIGH salt error forever.

Give it a try, find manual how to DIY here: http://www.mysys.cz/low_salt_fix.htm

  14. Can you just take that part off and soak it in vinegar?

  15. What if it still says low salt after we've cleaned the cell with the vinegar and have tested the salt level and the salt level is actually a little high. Would we need to replace the cell?

  16. SO it started right up ran for several hours and now it says high salt got the water tested salts fine ugh. Any idea if the thing generates chlorine while in sleep mode can't get any parts from intex FRUSTRATING

  17. Nice video for the 91 and 92 code. The power breaker on the salt generator on the plug keeps turning off when I plug it in, it was working last year not sure what's up.

  18. My pump ran fine for 2 weeks, now when I turn it on, it runs for about 3 min and then the service light comes on and the pump shuts off. Any idea what to do?

  19. Both plates are clean. tried two different test strips and it's reading that the salt is optimum, but the low salt light stays on and there aren't any bubbles showing that chlorine is being produced. Any idea?

  20. I have this same salt generator. This video is very helpful. My generator seems to be "stuck" in sleep mode. I have turned it on and off, hit the unlock button, hit Boost. Nothing seems to work. Any ideas? Thank you!

  21. Thanks for this. Every year I have to refresh on what the Codes mean. This was Super helpful. Thank you!

I just turn the water flow OFF, UNPlug the Filter & Saltwater Generator. Unscrew/UNPlug the LEFT side, Take OUT the Plate, Loosen the Calciun BuildUp with a Steak knife, Rinse and Repeat til All the Calcium is gone. then put it back together and turn it all back ON. Takes 5 – 10 minutes, if that.

  22. The green light comes on on mine, then the led display turns off and the unit goes dead. To clear that state it has to be unplugged and plugged back in… Then the same happens again. Ideas, anyone?

  23. I cleaned my elements and it is still throwing a low salt light after 16bags of salt. It rained a little and then I added two more bags of salt still no change. I tested my salt levels and it is above 3500 so what is next a new chlorinator. Please help

  24. My salt level is reading 6.3 ish which is right at 3000 ppm. My unit still shows High Salt. Itā€™s brand new

  25. We cleaned our cell membrane, checked the salt levels, and it is still beeping low salt. Any suggestions?

  26. Is there any other house hold item that I could use since weā€™re out of vinegar?

  27. Thanks, But I have to do this every week on my pool and it is way to much work. Will not buy another Intex system orĀ pool for that matter. Their customer service is in China or something and they do not want to help you as they put you thru the ringer and after 90 days you are on your own. Warning Intex does not care about their customers at all.

  28. How do you prevent corrosion on the metal frame. I've had my intex pool for 3 years with salt water converter but the salt has been eating away at the joints
