  1. If you're in need of a console repair, send me an inquiry here 😊 https://www.joeydoestech.com/book-a-repair

  2. I would have replaced the retimer IC, since beep on beep offs can be caused by it

  3. Yay, it's minus! Though think of it on the bright side: if the Switch charger is OK, and the power cable/controller for the Xbox is OK, you can at least sell those on to offset the minus from the consoles themselves not working.

  4. Yay, you got a Fluke 115! They have these at where I work, and if I find one at a decent price, I'm getting one myself!

  5. A Great attempt! Very entertaining as Always. Thank You

  6. I would respectfully disagree, I think most normies would consider this as not turning on (or powering on). They wouldn’t release the subtleties of not turning on vs light on light off.

  7. WTF did you just call out all those settings on your meter? Fluke should be at your door soon to take your Fluke meter.

  8. The description of the several symbols on the Fluke cracked me up.

  9. Your descriptions of the multimeter functions, just had me in tears mate well done 😂😂

  10. I'm curious, what type of feedback do you usually leave with items like these on eBay? Do you give the seller the benefit of the doubt? Do you call them out on what they do and/or didn't do as far as honesty with the listing?

  11. I'm strangely addicted to these vids 😅, slowly learning though so it's handy speaking of which would you ever do like do an in depth tutorial type vid or how to do XYZ like soldering for example I'm hoping to get into fixing things like console controllers primarily but there is no tutorial about soldering keep up the work and make sally happy 😂

  12. Joe, why you didn't switch the top and bottom board with known good one to narrow down the fault?

  13. I also bought the infiray and i am very happy with my purchase so far. Have no comparison though as it is my first thermal cam.
Having the original charger makes up for the lost postage you paid for the switch lite 🙂
With the xbox i assume they started repair, then failed and had it in parts bin collecting dust. Now they need the money and reassemble faulty.

  14. You could sell the charger and get some money back

  15. For the Nintendo, personally I would inject higher voltage just in case I can see something better. It wouldn't hurt to try if you gonna consider it as a loss.

  16. Welcome to the Fluke gang! I have been so pleased with my 115, hopefully it will treat you to many years of repair.

  17. 2 Videoa this week?! Thank you, Joey!

  18. make sure the console stay on without the ssd installed. if it stay on then is an ssd problem. if not there is a chance it could be something else and potentially can be fixed

  19. I don't like seeing you (well anyone) lose money. However I very VERY much appreciate that you post the fails as well as the successes.

Most repair channels show just that: repairs. They don't seem to post many failures, so you have to question if they did 5 attempts before 1 success or not.

  20. Joey where and how do i watch your livestreams? Do you also have a discord community for your channel i could join?

  21. Clearly now you need to use the Fluke to repair the old multimeter

  22. Despite everything Joey manages a great smile for the thumbnail. Keep trying 😀👍

  23. With the Xbox series X, with those pins on the port being bridged, you should’ve tried to swap out the HDMI IC, which is the N87N, since the Xbox will fail its self checks and turn off on its own if the HDMI chip has failed
(Not sure if thats always the case though.)

  24. That Fluke should last forever. My Fluke 87 has been used and abused for nearly 25 years and is still going.
