i can not for the life of me get this to work. when i connect my pc to the extender , it doesnt do anything. just tells me i have no net conection. hows it supossed to takee me to a web site if it has no net. going to throw it out the window.
This video was really helpful though I didn't need to do all those steps I just needed to put my password for my wifi and I was all set up
Ok so when I go to the NETGEAR new extender setup page it won’t let me go through the process of setting it up and it says “ not connect to Ethernet “ and I tried to connect the wifi extender to router but the router doesn’t have a wps and I been watching many videos on how to connect it but it still not workinf

Mine doesn't take me to the wifi genie or take me to that page when I type it in. It just tells me I'm not connected to the wifi with it 😢
You might have to use wps for the extender and your computer

Hi I just bought this and having trouble getting going. I can connect to the Netgear device on my WiFi just fine but no netgear page comes up. I type the url and nothing. There is no internet. How would the extender connect w no web ? I have Xfinity and my modem WPS also not working
