How to bypass your motorcycle immobiliser Meta 357

How to bypass your motorcycle immobiliser Meta 357

Ever had the need to hotwire the immobiliser on your motorcycle? Either way, watch this in case you fancy a gone in 60 seconds style hobby!

The Meta M3357 has a really crappy design flaw, a battery that once when dies totally prevents you from using your vehicle! What a pile of pants!! The bypassing procedure fortunately is really easy, thus proving how pointless this device is!

  2. I cannot tell you how much time and effort you have saved me. Thanks so much for this!

  3. I love you ❤. My Triumph T595 is now trouble free after years of playing up!

  4. Thanks for this really helpful post.
My Aprilia has the same unit fitted, the engine turns over but won't start, it shows no fault codes. The alarm does respond to the arming key.
Do you think my problem could be the Meta unit .?
    Thanks buddy.

  5. So someone can just steal my bike and hot wire it buy doing this ? Thats mad what the point in haveing an imobiliser

  6. Can you please hello with s.a.I.s immobilizer bypass of Suzuki an 650 burgman bike, I yanked off the former ecu and key due to loss of the key chip so I fixed another ecu that doesn’t require a chip on key to work….
    Thanks in advance

  7. Good video I've got the same problem with my Transit van it will turn over but won't start I'm going to try and bypass mine at some stage who ever fitted the alarm in the 1st place did a bum job of it , good video I actually thought I would of had to get auto electrician to sort it thanks

  8. You're a legend! Just had a NON STARTING problem with '98 R1 & was convinced it was the alarm, hacksawed off the security bolts then did you hot wiring … started & ran on the button!!! Awesome & I don't have anymore battery drain. THANK YOU SO MUCH

  9. My scooter battery keeps draining. It came with one of these alarms on it. And, luckily for me, it is the same model as yours. I found the alarm and did the wiring bypass trick, taped it all up and secured it and it worked fine!
    Thanks very much!

  10. Help, how did you do it on the immobilizer of my triumph tigre 800? has an LDL immobilizer

  11. Rough man dismantling 😂

  12. Super thanks for posting this video – I had just the same problem with the Meta Alarm on my Guzzi California. The bike went dead twice – once at home, another 30km away. Now my trust in this Meta alarm has all gone, its absolute shite. Following your guidance and that of other similar videos I have just fully removed this crappy alarm. All went well so thanks again for your help and to all others with similar videos

  13. Excellent tutorial. I ended up cutting the wires behind the plug and splicing them together. When I peeled back the heat shrink some of them were spliced together. This could explain why you could get away with splicing different wires together (ie 3 & 5, etc) as the all effectively went to the same place. I also used a Dremel to cut the screws in between the connector block cover. This will allow me to reuse the cover with new screws (but I doubt I'll put it back on!)

Bike fired up straight away with no issues.

  14. Es gibt leute, denen sollte man wirklich kein Werkzeug in die hand drücken😂

  15. Thank you, thank you thank you. Showing how to get around the security screws knowing you not cutting the good bits up was priceless. Thanks.

  16. Can the bike start without the immobiliser in it like when he’d taken it off

  17. Another comment to thank you for this video. After many hours trying to fix my Suzuki vstrom I eventually turned my attention to the Meta and found your video. Probably the first place to start if your bike is old and stops priming the pump (and has a Meta fitted). In my case it produced error code C41 which has now gone. Thanks again, super video!

  18. Great work yep teach the new thieves how to steal my bike and other peoples bikes. Omfg Wtf.

  19. OMG i just done this and my dead Bandit is now running thanks
    Ryan and Suzi Suzuki

  20. I cannot thank you enough. To hear my k3 gsxr 1000 prime after I followed your advice made me so happy. I found it best to use a stiffer wire as you can push it down into the slot easier. So good not to have to use that bloomin key fob!! Cheers bud! 👍

  21. The morning of my MOT and the bike failed. 05 triumph sprint 1050. Thanks for doing the stuff I didn't dare to do – taking apart the alarm unit. Followed your advice and the wiring code 2 and 4 . Bike fired up . Excellent , Thanks so much
