This is a brief guide to installing and configuring the Xbox emulator, Cxbx Reloaded. This emulator is capable of running quite a few titles, however not all games are supported.
This tutorial covers everything I could think of, including installation, controller setup, video settings, network configuration, hacks, enabling widescreen, and how to install a dashboard.

Hello. How can i save and load vc3?
I'm using dashboard Xbox Dash 1.00.4034.01 V1.0 , emulator version dated November 2022, the fonts are a bit clumsy and when I press f1 it seems to select all sorts of overlays, the fonts of the menu itself are hard to see. Playing on a 40 inch TV

@6:15 you should leave network disabled at first, if you don't configure it correctly, games will outright not launch
This just doesn’t work for me and is very frustrating, no matter what I do I can not get in-game to any game, all I can do is navigate the main menus and when I try to load into a map or mission or anything the emulator just crashes with no error code and loops the last sounds played, I even went as far as reinstalling windows 11 and it still doesn’t work, either I need an older build or this emulator just refuses to work with me for absolutely no reason
Edit: also the dashboard is entirely screwed up and displays no text and has tons of graphical bugs

Also, when you were mapping the mouse for light gun games.. can it actually be mapped TO a mouse rather than the analog stick? Or my trackpad perhaps?

Can someone help me? My pc meets the requirements, but the games don't start, I tried with deef jam ffn and (gulp) Dino crisis 3. Deef jam freezes on initial load, and dino crisis 3 freezes after I start "new game" I have to give something or are these two games really wrong with xcbx?
CE does have some compatibility issues but meh, at least I got a emulator running!

You are a god. It may seem so simple to use this emulator the way you instructed, but i cannot begin to explain the frustration with hundreds of so called "guides" That leave out information, do not explain the steps, and generally suck. You are awesome. Keep it up
