I used this. It didn't cure properly. It never hardened. And didn't stop the dripping. Now I have a mess to clean.

A few things to plan for before you start this job. Go to a hardware store. Buy gloves, cheap plastic narrow plastic scraper/spreader and the roof patch and fibreglass tape, mineral spirits. Then buy a case of beer. You will of course plan to do this with the weather forecast of no rain for a few days. Put on crappy clothing or that lime green T-shirt your mother in law gave you, that you hate. Guaranteed you will never have to wear it again. You get the ladder out, climb up and you will find that gutter full of crap, a sludgy mix of asphalt shingle pebbles, decomposing leaves etc..well let's face it you have not cleaned the gutter for 5 years or more. So after an hour of cleaning out the gutter, you need a beer. You deserve it! Then you start scraping the joint clean with soap and water as per the video. The joint has to dry now, even if you used your compressor to blow it off. That means another beer. Now you get down to spreading out the sticky black roof patch. Unlike Shells video, there are fasteners in the way and it is hard to get into your meticulously cleaned joint with the black gooey roof patch. You then press the pre-cut fibreglass tape into your first coat. Press in and recoat. Then clean up with mineral spirits as you got the roof patch on the top of the gutter and your arms. That roof patch is 100 times stickier than new bubble gum on a hot sidewalk. So you continue to the next joint, beer, watch the football game or golf on TV for a while. It takes all day to do 4 joints! Shell, I sure hope this lasts for at least 20 years as I really don't want to do this again. Now you can throw out the cheap plastic scrapers and gloves as you really don't want to clean that sticky crap off them. At least your wife will not bitch about ice on the walkway in the winter as that is where the gutter leaked onto. Cheers.
This is only the "RIGHT WAY" to peddle goop. Sloppy workmanship.
Where can you find this product?
So instead of learning how to properly seal a miter. Let's add a whole bunch of junk that will make it impossible to remove if the miter ever needs to be replaced because of damage or age.
