  1. what were the other wires in the harness for other than the speaker wires? ya know the ones you said in this video you didn't know what they were for?

  2. Does you have a wire harness not being used above your amp im curious what it is

  3. How long did it take you to do this from start to finish

  4. Where did you get that single din?

  5. Where did you order harness from?

  6. Man love all the videos you do keep up the good work. Maybe you can help do you know if a 2017 grand Cherokee overland have a anc system in the Jeep

  7. I just got my 05 Cherokee, the speakers were blown when I got it, so I replaced the front door speakers. Now the bass works and sounds very distorted after like 15 volume, the tweeters on the speaker don’t work and I only get mids and treble from the back. I’ve replaced the head unit and I’m thinking it’s the amp. Is this something a bad amp could do?

  8. G'z get a good radio if you are going to do all this.. pioneer sucks

  9. Did u need to install a interface when u installed a aftermarket cd player? My 05 cherokee has the boston acoustics sound system

  10. Can i keep my steering wheel controls with a amp bypass

  11. Hey man I have everything connected except the on off switch. Will I still get power to the radio without that connected?

  12. Would this work on a 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee I am seeing no wiring kit for 2010 just up to 09

  13. Love your explanation of the bypass harness. I will be doing this on my son's '03 Ram 2500. You clarified very well the interconnect plug between the head unit and the OEM harness, plus the red wire for power with the key on. I have been watching videos and researching until I'm near blind trying to figure this out. I think I have a handle on it now. Good job! I have been installing car sound systems since the '70s, but the car manufacturers have made things more complicated as the years go by. The Infinity system is an odd one. The door speakers are essentially sub woofers with mid range and tweeters in the dash and pillars…at least on the Ram.

  14. which wire is for illumination? and how many from the harness did you not use??

  15. Awesome Video! I have on 05,06 and 07 GC 💪 now if this needs done I know where to come

  16. And he paid about close to 170 for that harness forget that

  17. Do you tap the factory wires that were plugged into the factory stereo into the amp bypass wires?

  18. Where did you get the wiring harness from?

  19. I bought the bypass kit and after a day my speakers went out and I put some new ones in and it started staticing what could be causing that

  20. How can i buy a new amplifier card for my Serius Radio

  21. Gracias por el vídeo ! 👍🏻👍🏻

  22. Just buy aftermarket 4 channel and run all new speaker wire. And forget about that factory amp. Saves a big headache

  23. Where did you get the wire kit from

  24. question what happens is i leave the amp in?

  25. are the steering wheel buttons working after this?

  26. Hi Parker, thanks, good job. Well, I'm French and own a 2006 WH (WK with a diesel) with also a REJ head unit and a Boston Acoustic. Maybe I'll plan to replace the head unit with a touchscreen Android. I guess I won't need to keep the Boston amp. My question is : does it exist a connection harness to connect together the 2 plugs removed from the amplifier and connecting the inputs and the outputs directly after have removed the amp. I mean, that way, don't need to re-install an entire long harness from the back to the front ? Great video. Thanks. Herve.

  27. Would I lose my steering wheel controls aux and etc by doing this?

  28. So if I were to bypass my stock amp and remove it.. if I were to install after market tweeters, where do I wire them to? They're just small 50w rms 200w max ds18 tweeters.

  29. Nice video but just tap into the power outlets as they are switched and will be more than enough of a "remote" turn on. Those fuse tap things always end up coming loose at some point.

  30. Would it be less work to just run wire from doors speakers direct to speakers and you can use thicker better wire???

  31. Excellent – I have the same vehicle and was very helpful. Kudos to you 🤘🤛💪

  32. Great video brother! Everything I needed to know to hook my stereo up! If you did not make this video I would had be out of luck!

  33. Did yours originally have the boston acoustics system? Mine seems to limit the db on the speakers after a certain point, and the front 6x9s don't play mids

  34. I have a 06 grand Cherokee with aftermarket radio and factory amp there's only bass on the left side of my car non on the right how do i troubleshoot the factory amp? I wired up the speakers perfectly

  35. Where is the stock sub located?

  36. I'd really appreciate your thoughts! I tried running the bypass wires into a Boss bv9386nv stereo and all of the speakers work, except the front right. Not only that, the speakers that do work are much, much quieter than when they were running on the factory amp. I have two Alpine 6x9s in the front and stock speakers in the rear. Any help at all is REALLY appreciated. I can't figure it out!

  37. Extremely helpful showing how to use that amp bypass wiring harness! Thanks!!!

  38. So the other wires were not used?

  39. Great video. This is a huge help. Now I understand my bypass harness kit much better. It makes much more sense seeing it. Being installed and not just reading about how to do it.

  40. Can you add a sub to the factory amp ?

  41. I have a 2007 Jeep Laredo. My front right tweeter makes a cracking or popping sound at high volumes. It sounds like you’re putting a needle on a record. I replaced both tweeters with aftermarket but the problem persists. I’m struggling to determine what the problem could be. Potentially bad wires running to the tweeters? Bad amp? Do I need an aftermarket stereo? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  42. How did you add an aftermarket amp when you already had a factory one

  43. That factory amp sucks. Its a good paper weight. Its not like your beautiful aftermarket Amp.

  44. Will this work with the Boston acustic system and Factory Nav unit?

  45. Nice work but I think I would had taken 4 or even 6 RCAs from radio to back. And used 4 channel amp to power factory speakers and D-class amp for woofer. But this shows what is needed if someone wants to just use their aftermarket radio without any amps at all.

  46. When the volume is all the way down do you hear any static from the speakers? I installed an aftermarket radio and I hear static when the volume is turned all the way down. I think the factory amp is the problem. This is in a Honda element with factory sub woofer and factory amp. What would you do if you were me?

  47. Parker, Do you still have the CRUX can bus module that you removed in the video? Would you like to sell it cheap if so?

  48. I'm trying to by pass infinity gold amp 2002 jeep Cherokee laredo
