  1. Using hair growth oil, trim, hair stimulating.

  2. Thank you for talking about menopause.

  3. I'm always learning so much from you. Thank you for sharing

  4. Hi Tonya, I wasn't sure how to get a question through to you. But I wanted to know if you had any information on virgin relaxers? This is a term I've never heard. Saw it on a Facebook reel and wanted to get more information on it. To my knowledge there was no healthy or safe relaxer. Just wanted to know if this is something that is safe or will it cause damage to your hair. Thank you in advance for your response to this.

  5. I am doing green tea rinses

  6. Low manipulation, 3xs a week massages has helped my 57 year old bra length hair.
Working with the pumpkin seed oil now. Thx 4 the info.

  7. Heyy Tonya❤ I really need this. My hair seems to have "stopped" growing so I need to change my routine. Thank you for this video ❤❤

  8. I've a hair-adjacent question. Pre-pooing has been a game changer (THANK YOU!) but I'm worried all that coconut oil is going to clog up the drain. Have you had to deal with this at all?

  9. Aloe vera juice has been very effective in stopping the dryness which is letting me see my growth. But also leaving my hair alone is helping😮

  10. Hi Curlfriend, my hair has changed so much; it's like i am relearning it over again. Thanks so much for the video

  11. I love your content! Can you do a video on how to care for hair in it’s blow dried state/stretched state?😢 What products won’t revert hair back and still provide enough moisture to prevent breakage?

  12. does all you tips help with men too

  13. Thanks for info as always. What make headband wig is the one you're wearing looks very real or it your hair just wearing a headband, prob what made me think it was a wig if so sorry…💕

  14. Hi curly chemistry i have coils and my hair is dry and flaking and damge and hair loss can you have items for my hair like shampoo, conditioner, hair oil, hair mask with products at walmart

  15. Do you have a recommend oil brand to use?

  16. I’m really intentional how I handle my hair because I learned many years ago I was not caring for my hair properly. However, sometimes when I massage my scalp it gets very sore, tender and feels like it’s burning. I do the oils, moisturizing shampoo/conditioners, leave in to keep my hair healthy, but still sometimes not all the time I experience the discomfort.

  17. I have been staying consistent with moisturizing every 2 days. I also incorporated the pumpkin seed oil in my regimen.

  18. Hi Curly Chemistry, I just want to say how much that I appreciate your videos on hair care. Apart from the abundance of valuable information and hair tips, it is the fact that you condense it all in such an accessible and joyful manner. I am white, so my hair type I imagine is a bit different from most of your community. But, I have learnt so much from you and have started things like scalp massage , rosemary oil and drinking teas on your recommendations. I am loosing a bit less hair and in general feel more positive. Your science background is very impressive and once again thank you for this wonderful channel.

  19. Thanks for the video. Coming from a woman who a hysterectomy (tea tree essential oil in my shampoo, rosemary essential oil in my conditioner, mini twist for protective style, shower filter, vitamin d, iron vitamins, bone vitamins, omega vitamins, chia and flaxseed, salmon, and plenty of water. Workout everyday.
I have 4b high porosity hair and I also take my twist out and wash weekly never skipping prepoo and deep condition and Acv rinse. And I moisturize my twist every other day. Hope that helps❤ and I use qhemet pomade on my scalp.

  20. I am currently taking zinc, vitamin D, omega – 3, and I’m incorporating more protein in my diet nowadays. I also use a henna treatment (with essential oils) 1 – 2 times a month on a wash day. I am seeing great results. It’s so amazing how small lifestyle changes can make a huge difference in hair health.

  21. @CurlyChemistry Please can you do an in-depth video on hair growth/care when women are in Pre-menopause stage? Thanks

  22. I’m post menopause and 21 months natural. Consistent and Plenteous Moisture is the key for me and it begins with Prepoo the night before wash day (coconut oil and SheaMoisture Intensive conditioner). Wash day is: Hydrating Shampoo, Protein treatment, deep conditioning, aloe vera spray followed by leave-in and then wash-n-go products. I moisturize every day with Pattern Moisture Milk until apx 2-3 days before wash day when I switch to the heavier TGIN Daily Moisturizing Cream. I throw in an ACV rinse every so often as well as Pattern Cleansing Shampoo once every 2 months or more often depending on how heavy handed I’ve been with products that week. I am all about wash-n-go’s until Winter And I leave it alone all week!! No combing, No banding, No detangling, No edge control stuff, No making sections to moisturize…Nothing!! Most importantly, I take a load of supplements including D3, Collagen, Mushroom Complex, Zinc, B12 and B-complex, glucosamine, folic acid, etc. My hair is healthy, super thick and has grown like crazy. A very spontaneous and unplanned Big Chop at 6 months natural left me with only 6” of length. My strands are now 13+” (bra strap length in back) and top of bra (where the cup dips down in front!). I trimmed my ends for the 1st time since going natural 2 weeks ago. Also – I drink water, water, water all day and scalp massages every morning and night (before I wrap and bonnet). 🙂

  23. How often should I take down my plaits to comb (remove shed hair)? Everyone and y'all's family always stay blessed and healthy ✝️🙏🛐🕊️

  24. I leave my hair alone. I literally didn’t know how long my hair was till today. It’s super thick now too. I have single braids in and wash and condition in the braids. The key is leaving it alone like everyone says. My hair went from my ears to almost the middle of my back in a yr. I never had a wash and go and I don’t want to start doing those but boy I can wait to do it just once lol. My hair is super curly. Never been this curly my entire life.

  25. So if you don’t have very tightly curled hair, but still have black hair (wavy) should you still oil your hair every 1-2 days? All this stuff about how often to oil is so confusing l. Some say only on wash days and others say never

  26. i use hair gease for my hair but is always dry in the morning. i am starting tuesday after my washday
