  2. Thank you for your great video,👍

  3. Good on you for embedding the mesh tape into the joint compound… So many people make the mistake of not doing that and cracks return.

  4. Reminds me of the old days when I used Goldblatt curved blade trowels.

  5. Great tips to filling Wall & Celing plasterboard cracks !!

  6. Sorry, but that crack is the result of a structural flaw. Your repair is only temporary. Rounding the corners on your taping knife and a spray bottle of water will eliminate the tiny ridges. A job that small should be done with no sanding required at all.

  7. beautifully done! Even "idiots" like me can follow these clear instructions. Thank you!

  8. you should wear a mask. not very healthy inhaling so much of those dusts

  9. You're just setting up for it to crack again. MESH TAPE is designed to be used with HOT MUD not JOINT COMPOUND!!

  10. You need to learn how to mud

  11. As a diy'er I always thought I would be criticised for feathering by going across the plaster rather than lengthwise, Good to see my "home grown" method is actually a legitimate way used by professionals. I had never seen anyone do it before.

  12. You failed to stabilize the crack with screws. Chances are good that the crack will reappear.

  13. I would've climbed into the Ceiling to check out the other side of the cracked Panel…

  14. Couldn’t you have used the wider joint knife/blade at the beginning?
