  1. It's really simple to explain. Tony Khan had a core group of talent in 2019. He had his roster set up how he wanted it and everything evolved at a good pace. But Tony, like most people in positions of power, let his ego take over and he got too big for his britches. He signed any WWE roster cut he could, he bought Ring of Honor and plastered his regular programming with all of their talent AND championships. And let's not mention the awful idea of creating 3 goddamn shows, one of which was to placate a narcissistic, self absorbed bridge burning "straight edge superstar".

And now, he is becoming all of the worst wrestling promoters of the past, rolled into one. He's signing all the old farts like Vince McMahon. He's pushing all the ex-WWE talent he can instead of the homegrown talent like Dixie Carter in TNA. And he's making VERY questionable booking decisions like a Billy Corgan would.

He needs to go back to the AEW roots. He needs a core roster to focus on, he needs to either kill ROH or let someone else book that and he NEEDS to make more long term stories like the MJF-Adam Cole saga. If he keeps going the way he's going now, I don't know how AEW keeps their heads above water for too long.

  2. The main things that have led AEW to where it is now:
    – Cody leaving
    – Brawl Out/Punk being fired
    – Way too much ROH on AEW TV
    – Over reliance on old guys

  3. 9:47 The Build to MJF vs Jay White for the AEW World Championship…
"Jay White stole MJF's title belt. MJF got quarters flashed at him 3 days after a war broke out in the Middle East. And then MJF, the World Champion, got pinned clean randomly by Jay White in a 6 man tag, before ending a show scissoring Billy Gunn and The Acclaimed… " – Jimmy

  4. 8:45 "Tony Khan must pick a core group of guys to put all his stock into, instead of trying to please everybody.", you try to please everyone, you end up pleasing no one it seems.

  5. 7:36 "it's all sugar hits with Tony Khan. The honeymoon phase for Edge was no longer than 2 weeks. Then it was Ric Flair, that was the thing for a week. It was Big Show for about 2 hours" – Jimmy

  6. 7:18 "Where is Adam Copeland? Haven't heard too much from him. He's supposed to be the face of the new era, the face of AEW… haven't heard too much these past couple weeks…" – Kevin

  7. 6:46 "Ric Flair and his energy drink, Big Show Paul Wight and his unstable, arthritic knees, that's what the priority feels like right now. That can't be the case" – Jimmy

  8. 4:25 "even if there is a direction, it's changing so much. [2019 was so much simpler for the fans, and the people backstage, to understand]" – Jimmy
