QUICK AND TO THE POINT. The pro controller can experience stick drift when one or more of the analog sticks have problems, causing characters in games to move on their own. How to fix depends on the issue: calibrating, cleaning, alcohol, vacuuming, blowing, canned air, contact cleaner. Disassembly is needed for tougher problems.

Best watch bruh, been having to deal with controller drift for a year and the straw method worked great
You're the guy from "Gaming the systems" aren't you? I recognized your voice 😁
Method 5,6 solved the problem Huge Thanks 🎉
I had to go all the way down to the tape trick. but it works now.
Thanks a mill
“Try sucking- _with a vacuum.
Bro the straw one helped me thanks bro😊
I have a stubborn left stick on my pro controller that drifts downwards. I got my switch on a trip to the US and am currently living in Brazil, around here, Nintendo only offers free repairs to joy cons. I have tried all of the methods you mentioned that don't open the controller and it was fine for a week, until it started drifting again 😢 I guess I'll need to open it
Had my controller for about 5 years, when I opened it up it was pretty clean. I used a small long flat head screw driver , alcohol and Q tips, went as far as opening the doors ,taking the discs out , brushing and assembled . I did not use any paper though and it works great now , impressed , thank you.
Muchas gracias por los consejos me salvaste la vida y ya funciona mi control 😊
The blowing through a straw thing seemed to do the trick. Thanks!
I may end up having to try one of these methods. My Pro Controller (which I bought about a year after I bought my first Switch) just started to drift. The irony is that I bought it because the Joy-Cons were drifting. But I did manage to replace the joysticks on those, so in the meantime, I can always use those in the event that I need to replace the joysticks on my Pro Controller.
Ok my chewed one of my sticks off but my brothers old controller completely broke I’m going to replace it with a new joy stick wish me luck😅
Fr just saved my $100 ty so much
