2023 Update
Uninstalling the first 3 NVIDIA apps would help with the problem. However, Deleting the other 3 (EXP : Graphic Drivers) could effect your pc in some ways. If you did uninstall it, You could Install Geforce Experience again to reinstall it. But some effect would still be changed.
My issue is. I'll be in a game starting a new fresh recording. The first 1. Once the game is over and I shut the recording off it will save as it should. After the next map is loaded I will start the recording again but this time is will start and within 3 – 5 seconds, it stops and says it saved the recording. It runs fine the first time, after that I can't record anything with it till I let it sit without using it for a few hours. I don't get it…..I ended up installing OBS screen recorder on my system so I can record my games as I want and not when it feels like working. Only issue, I want to record in 1080p and OBS makes the files so large in that mode where GF Exper. is half the size at the same quality.
The version of Geforce Experience I have now, the newest 1 don't have privacy control in it anywhere that I've seen. I searched the entire app and unless I missed it its not there no more.

My problem is weird because I can record stuff fine using alt+F9 but that only starts recording when you press is and not anything from earlier. I had a shortcut for alt+F10 set up and it used to record the last 30 seconds of gameplay and it suddenly decided to stop working. I even went into the shortcuts and it still shows up. Both keys (alt and f10) work but when i do them together nothing happens anymore and the other shortcuts still work… and I even tried changing the shortcut to something else and that didnt work either. Any ideas?

Hey so I've been playing this game windowed and geforce experience always worked. I used to take screenshots and record gameplay with it, one day Geforce Experience said the game isn't supported when I tried to screenshot. Is this a bug or is my game really not supported anymore. please help. thanks so much!!! (I have a acer predator with a 1060)

Shadowplay never worked for me. No matter that OS or hardware I use.
I had my resolution set to 1440p so it wasnt recording my game, setting it to game resolution fixed it straight away, thanks!

After recording the video, it is not saved, an empty folder is created with the name of the application where I started recording, my processor gives a small load on itself, this proves that the recording is in progress, but it is not saved, help!
I just realized, I have netflix open that is why it's not working.
If this didn't work try turning off all other apps and make sure browsers are closed…
Netflix, Amazon, and other paid streaming sites seem to be one of the fixes. Closing them worked for me and also logging out of Twitch worked for me too. Good luck!
