I would like to know if the pullout kitchen faucets, specifically Brantford, can be used with an on-demand hot water heater. I bought this quite a while ago, but it is still brand new in the box. A family member came to live in the house, so it was never installed. It's not the newer models with voice control, etc, just a standard model. Low flow taps often don't run enough volume for the water heater to deliver hot water. The current faucet works fine with hot water, so I don't want to take it out if this won't work with on-demand. It's a 15 year old water heater, but not heavily used until the last three years by one person.
My Moen faucet is now installed, and this video helped every step of the way. Very happy with it. The real work was getting the old faucet out, which was quite determined to stay put and leak and not run hot water. Glad it's out and the Moen is in.
Nice tutorial. I wish at the end they showed the faucet in action. I spent 10 min trying to figure out why water wasn't coming out until I realized that you turn the water on by rotating the handle outward, 90 degrees, rather than rotating it toward or away from you. Should have been obvious, but the outward rotation isn't something I was used to with other faucets.
I have a 20 Moen faucet that uses 1224 cartridge since 2005, when they leak I just clean the 2 rubber gasket with toothbrush and water, put it back, like new again. It happen about 4x only. The 5 shower uses cartridge 1225 cartridge It broke one time and I replace the cartridge. Moen is very reliable, easy to fix faucet.
Over time my faucet always comes apart above the counter why is this? So annoying

What size is the spray wand threads?
Moen = garbage. My pullout hose did massive damage to my cupboards because the pull out hose cracked.
Your cheap plastic parts loosen and break. My $300.00 faucet shipped with a 5 cent plastic mounting nut that cant support the faucet. Do better!

My son, who has no experience plumbing, installed our faucet in 30 minutes. The old faucet was a moen so all the hook ups matched.

Excellent, easy to follow video. I have zero plumbing experience, and removed our old faucet and installed the new faucet in 30 minutes or less.

Tips on how to fix when it starts leaking? (not leaking where it screws on, it's leaking where the metal ball swivle meets the hose)
