How to repair a car door that won't close easily



Very simple “how to” for repairing a car door hinge on a sagging door that won’t close properly — In just 30 minutes and for just a few dollars too!

  2. My Silverado the door will close and lock but it is not fully shut. You
    can move it back and forth about an 1/8 of an inch. I hope this is
    what is wrong with my truck. I will check it out tomorrow,

  12. I need to do this on my s10 2000 blazer, and i need the part re welded where the door latches onto.

  16. the only problem is if the hole is already egg shaped in the hinge the new bushing will crack and fall out in no time.
