  1. Is it possible to use tape to make flatlock stitched seams into glued/taped ones. My suit is a cheapy but fits well so wondering if I can upgrade it?

  2. That's interesting, didn't know the patches wouldn't stick to smooth skin

  6. I have done this type of repair on neoprene with a great adhesive called Neoprene Queen. It comes in a bright orange tube.

  7. enjoyed your video, and i don't even have a wetsuit or dive.

  8. Fantastic video and instructions! Thank you! Just finished repairing my wetsuit and it looks solid. Can't wait to bring it in the water.

  9. Great video, good tips on the rounded corners and clips! – I followed the instructions almost exactly, used a toothpick instead of brush. In the USA, was able to find the Black Witch goo on Amazon under 'black witch adhesive' but not if you search the McNett products alone. Could not find Neotape, went with Iron Mend, which seems to be very similar. Only difference is that the IM instructions beg and plead for the user to place heat shield paper between the iron and the patch/neoprene.

  15. Aqua tape is rubber tape that you need liquid adhesive to apply. Neotape is the product seen in the video that is applied with an iron. Neotape is commonly seen on the inside of wetsuits to reinforce certain areas.
