Hello and welcome to yet another Minecraft video!
With the release of Minecraft 1.16.5 we also quickly got a Forge 1.16.5 version! It usually takes some time for Forge 1.16.5 to be released, but this time Forge was updated to 1.16.5 in a matter of minutes! In this video I will show you how to install Forge 1.16.5, but since this is a Forge Beta version, it’s a little harder to install. Of course, if you want to use mods in Minecraft 1.16.5 update, you’ll have to install Forge 1.16.5! The 1.16.5 Forge installer will be a .jar file, so to run it you need Java. Because for some people the file association is set incorrectly, they will need to run a program called Jarfix to fix this. Apart from showing you how to install Forge for Minecraft 1.16.5, I will also show you how to fix the file association of the Forge 1.16.5 installer after you install Java! i have everything and even have a couple other versions of forge but for some reason now when I try to install a version of forge it just crashes when it finishes installing can you help please?
