How to install undermount sinks

This new installation video for the Sink Mount Kit, shows how easy it is to install undermount sinks with granite or other slab countertops. This sink bracket is perfect for the professional installer or the DIY who does not know how to install undermount sinks. If you want to install a vanity sink, bar sink or vegetable sink, this sink mount will support your sink while your caulking dries. It connects to the roughtop so no more need for sink clips or drilling and notching into your counter material. Sinks are also removable after installation with this sink support.

  1. Yes. If you are adding a slab counter over your dresser then you could use the dresser top as the rough top. The dresser top must be thick enough to mount the brackets to and able to support the sink weight. If you are going to use the dresser top as the counter top, then you will need to add an addition plywood support inside the dresser under the top. The brackets would be connected to the additional plywood and then somehow secured inside the dresser.

  2. Will this work if you're installing the sink into an old dresser, made into a vanity?

  3. Hi great video! If you are applying a stone countertop will you be able to see the plywood between the countertop and the cabinets?

  4. I need help. What do you call that precut black plastic on top of the plywood? And where can I get those? Thanks

  5. Hi! Not sure if you will pay attention to this. But looks like my sink have no holding support you used, looks like it just hold on by some glue how can that be? Some one removed it?

  9. Very nice demo, showing exactly what I needed to see, many thanks!!

No background music to distract, so grateful for that. Using the spacer block as guide for line around sink was pure genius, and a great tip!!

I have a question please – In my small RV, I have to make a bathroom counter 2ft x 4 ft long. I want to use a 1/4 inch birch plywood with a nice grain which is cheap. Sink is small bar type sink, not heavy, stainless steel. Sink and counter are not subject to much moisture since its used only occasionally. Counter will be heavily protected with Urethane finish. Is it okay to use such thin wood? To get any other thickness means I won't have the nice grain. Thanks!
