  1. and that was my last itunes purchase fuck apple

  2. these devices dont work at all they duplicate the signal the device playing
ive already tried 2 and this issue varies between devices and signals some work some shoot its a crap shoot.
some of these reviewers have been bought by the Chinese companies .
90% of the bypass devices don't work. i am still searching for one that works with my ps3 and my elgato HD60X.

  3. how can i get around HDCP for burnt blu rays on my PS5 will the splitter work for burnt blu ray discs?

  4. Can this splitter be used to bypass hdcp without capture card

  5. 1. Does this work for IPad Pro?
    2. For anyone wanting to record PS4 gameplay to maybe VHS, is this not needed since you’re going to analog/component? Or would this still be needed in this scenario?

  6. Ok so it does this with my Roku the Roku works on other tv's no problem so all I need is a splitter for it to work on the tv it needs to??

  7. I just want to watch Netflix or Amazon prime from my phone on the tv system in my car. My car has 1 HDMI port and 2 usb ports. It clearly connects as sound works, but not video. I bought a lightening to hdmi converter but it is HDCP protected. These converters have 2 hdmi. Any other recommendations?

  8. I did this last year too. It works with Roku but I am limited to 1080p. If you set Roku to display 4k it didn't work. I'm guessing the HDCP to verify 4k content is requiring more that the splitter isn't able to pass.?

  9. I was watching tutorials on YouTube while having my game capture connected without it even recording and got the HDCP pop up and couldn’t record anymore.

  10. Questions is in download movies onto my kids fire tablet or my android phone on platforms like Netflix, Disney, prime video. I go camping where I have no internet to cast. So I am looking for a cable that can mirror whatever movie I downloaded from the tablet without wifi.HDCP encryption seems to be an issue that I cannot play onto my projector. What card can help. Please help. Thanks

  11. Would this work using a streaming stick as the input to the splitter and one of the outputs to the TV set. I get that ROKU HDCP 020 error on my TV trying to use my Roku stick. Where and what goes to what connecting these things ? What is the external capture dongle for. This is a good informative video and Thank You. The thing is you left us a little short on some connection info.

  12. This really doesn’t illustrate what you’re talking about just didactic verbal nonsense

  13. Hello there, question, I’m a mobile video game streamer. I ran into an issue where I can’t stream from my iPad to my Elgato HD60S because the signal gets a HDCP block. Would I still be able to use a HDMI splitter?

  14. So can i record netflix movies etc now with my elgato?i dont want to copy whole video but make some small trailers based on fair content use is allowed by law

  15. Even the PS3 has HDCP and there's no option of turning off HDCP in the settings on the PS3 but you can turn of HDCP on the PS4 and the PS5 too

  16. DHCP is what is wrong with this world, I get dhcp errors if my hdmi cable isn’t compliant with Disney plus so I can’t watch what I paid for, I’ve been through 4 cables. If I want to capture my tablet gameplay I get the same issues

  17. Does any HDMI splitter solves this issue?

  18. Meh i just wanna store it honestly. Its why i bought a bluray player. Its one of the reasons to even own physical ownership to begin with.

  19. I just disable HDCP via regedit under the display adapter (AMD you can do this via driver software) and everything is so far working. Netflix and amazon prime appear to work. HDCP does not really stop copying but adds latency. As a gamer I disable it.

  20. why tech are so confusing shit standard

  21. fuk hdcp! the only ones struggling with this crap are the average gamers!

  22. Does this actually work I’m not gonna buy the splitter unless I know.

  23. Thank you.

All I need is $320 to watch Disney and Netflix content I already pay for on my freaken old LG tv because idiots are in charge of the data, tvs phone etc that we paid for ……

    Got it.

  24. I’m using Apple TV 4K. had the HDCP error message on Disney plus come up and couldn’t play anything. I tried a few things and nothing worked, I then I unplugged my HDMI cable from the tv and plugged in back in. It worked like a charm, try it.

  25. If wanting to watch content while you work on your computer screen is the issue…. Websites do exist… Both illegally and legally ex. Netflix, Hulu, Prime, etc.
But that's me playing devil's advocate… I understand the purpose of the video… To bypass hdcp.

  26. I am trying to Screensaver or mirror my phone which I have the NFL network to play on my TV but nfl network won't let me a d an error pops up saying I cannot play. Will the help bypass or what can I do

  27. I just want to play a DVD on my disc drive and send it to my TV for corn's sakes. I don't want to by something for 25.00

  28. Can I'll use this to connect my fire tablet to a TV? Will it then just bypass the hdcp issue?

  29. Hey dude, there's a "switch to TV" option on my phone and you just click and voila! How to do it the same way from a PC ???

  30. I tried this splitter out on my apeman lc350 projector to play Netflix from my iPad and it still doesn’t bypass the HDCP error. Help 😭 this is the second splitter I’ve purchased and end up disappointed each time. 😔

  31. Yet another instance of where DRM only exists to inconvenience honest folk! I just encountered the HDCP issue with Amazon Prime Video. It's so frustrating that it won't even tell you where the issue is in the chain of devices. Well the relatively small price to get a device in order to bypass this nonsense is more than worth it. Thanks for the info!

  32. The proper solution is to disable HDCP in your registry and then pirate all your movies. That's how you do it. Don't buy more hardware that you don't need so this guy gets a cut of it (with his affiliate link in the description).

Pay your ISP and then put your wallet away. You don't need to buy anything to do what you want on the internet.

  33. HDCP
    Hi
    Dumb
    Crappy
    Protection

  34. Im trying to record a few shows from the Dish Tv DVR to a Cloner Alliance Im not getting an Hdcp message but only a limited FPS which is annoying and I tried a splitter box? Thx

  35. Thanks for this video! I had trouble knowing what to search for, finally found that I needed to look for HDCP and found your video. Thank you!

  36. Good ! …
but I have an older TV monitor, very good that I don't want to change: one of the first Full HD Plasma, which accept 1.2 HDCP certification: how could I reach it ? Every box downsizes to 1.4 minimum, that I have checked still is blocked by my monitor… 🙁 could you please have some other suggestions for a total reducing HDCP device? thx !

  37. I just purchased the J-Tech HDCP 2.2 to 1.4 Converter, and I am planning on sending the HDMI signal directly to my Elgato 4K60 Pro MK.2 PCIe Capture Card. I would like to keep everything in 4k at 60hz, do you guys know of any other HDCP devices that would completely strip the HDCP signal, in the event that this splitter does not work, that is shown in the video?
