2021 and Post Covid BS, I think I've found a new calling: to fix and make good every thing in my life – broken and plastic! Excellent vid!

"That stuff is rock hard." — That's what she said.
Can I use this to reattach my side mirror?
I had plastic tab break off a replacement dish washer handle. I used this method to make a 90 degree glue job. It worked great and the handle snapped back into place ๐
tride it on the knee rest on my razor scooter..not so good .. maybe should have done glue first ..then baking soda
Can you show me how to fix piston guide spring airsoftgun..

Will it work on ABS?
Surprised you don't use 303 aerospace on it ๐
Sir what's the reaon of being applying the soda ??
Never seen this one before. What a great tip on so many levels and applications!! Thanks!
Looks good, BUT, Is it strong enough like new? My experience is NO.
I'm gonna break something just so I can try this.
I did this on a fridge drawer and it worked out great. Your solutions not only work on cars but on everyday things that we use. Thank you.

Yeah Buddy โ๐๐ Never used baking soda with super glue, looks like a good trick, I've been using super glue for a long time and I used it for every thing. Thanks man ๐
Many thanks.
After you glue the driver you could wrap in a good quality tape it will add more strengh.
Excellent tip! I'm thinking of those expensive parts or tools made useless by chips or cracks and this will save so much money and time searching for parts of another prized tool โฆ thanks!
Learned something today. Interesting.
Awesome. Never thought of using baking soda on cracks. I will now, thanks to you.
Another great video! Thanks for sharing another useful, money saving tip for us DIYโers. I have learned so much from all your videos. Canโt wait to see the video on dash repairs.
Thank you, sir, for this great tip!
I use the same brand super glue for many of my fixes but "old school" method… Put some glue on crack, wait for cure and repeat…
Now, thanks to you, I know how to accelerate the reaction.
I wish to all A Happy New Year!!!
That's a pretty cool way of repairing plastic. Never even thought about that one.
Nice
Well done!
Wow I had no idea this technique existed. Thanks again for the knowledge shared.
Another WIN brother
Sweet Project Cars – Would you still get the volcano effect if you put vinegar on this after it cures??? I am asking because i was pondering using vinegar on how to clean up excess baking soda if it ever got into like plastic threads or any nooks and crannies and you didn't have an air compressor. I wouldn't want to reverse the hardening affect of the baking soda by possibly neutralizing it with vinegar and causing it to fizz.
Sweet Project Cars – Which is technique stronger, the paper layering technique or the baking soda technique???
WOW. really great info yet again. I now have about 20 more projects. Oh goody.
Wow. This looks better than the procedure I saw before with the superglue and paper (or paper towel). I had tried that on a piece of plastic bumper on my car, but when I put the bumper back in place, the superglued paper didnโt hold the connection and it broke again. I think this procedure with the powder might be better. Thanks!
Awesome! I am sure some of us are wondering if this works on mother in law's big fat traps as well?
Again… it's work for me..but need to file but i's work..TQVM
