  5. Why are the pieces so incredibly short? Is that normal in the US? I've never seen shorter than 3-4 meters.

  6. thanks for sharing. I have not done this before, but would it be easier to avoid the tight space (when you got to the other side of the room because of the wall being in the way) if you did the sides first then worked you way in towards the middle of the room?

  7. Thank you so much.πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

  8. The way you reach overtop of that table saw makers me squirm lol

  9. This was a great video for me to confirm what I was planning to do was pretty spot on. My project is a little more involved since it is a dining room, living room combination with a long hallway in the middle. My issue was that I wanted the flooring centered down the hallway so it took way more planning and measuring in 2005 build raised ranch that for some reason doesn't have any straight walls! Gotta love builders that can be off by almost 1/2 inch from one end of the hall to the other! Thanks for the video. Hoping my extra measuring pays off!

  10. Don’t use plastic under your wood floors boys and girls. It’s not breathable and any moisture that gets in there is there to stay.
A trim nailer on the finish up wall is fine but you angled it to much. When you do that the nails glance off the subfloor and curl back up underneath. Try to stay with the same angle as the flooring nailer when using a trim gun through the tongue.

  11. Nice explanation video.Super duper job.πŸ‘πŸ‘Œ

  12. Is it industry standard to level the slab/foundation after total reconstruction before putting in a new floor?

  20. Great video! I've decided it's best that I don't try to attempt this project myself. πŸ˜‚
