  6. Note that a grout saw is easy to move in a straight line, staying on the grout and not damaging the tile.

    The same cannot be said for a Dremel-type rotary tool. It is not self-guiding and does not naturally stay to a straight line. Despite what their ad shows, it is all too easy for the tool to wander and damage the tile.
    Don't ask me how I know.

  8. You mentioned to clean the tile before starting. Any suggestions on cleaning white 4” square shower tile that was laid in 1970? I can’t get them clean.
