For the install, you have two options: (1) You can "Try it out first", which allows you to evaluate Chrome OS Flex. This does not affect your existing operating system or files. (2) You can also install CloudReady, which installs Chrome OS Flex. This will erase any existing files and operating system on your hard drive. If you decide to install, make sure that you have backed up any critical files that you want to keep.

can we use ventoy on the usb to download it
After finished the recovery media , starts with creating a recovery image too, I do all the job on my desktop but I needed the OS for my laptop, the question is if I need that image too?
I followed your guidelines to create a recovery usb. It all worked until the last step of actually writing to the usb. It just hung and did not progress. I tried a different usb and still not writing. What was frustrating was that each time I retried it started from scratch to download the image again. And when it failed I cancelled out but the system space was not returned. Each trial cost me around 7 gb of disk space. Any advice?

Hey, i have problem, that i can't make an USB installer, in the 2. step, i can only select some random disks, that aren't even in my PC, and i can't continue. Do you have any fix?
This is actually being sustainable. At least for me, often time I do not need a high spec computer but I enjoy having something swift. I realised only in 2022-23 that simplier systems such as android now runs a lot smoother than win11.

I'm beginning to think this operating system doesn't actually exist there is no way to download it I have tried a million f**** times you go to the "try os flex" and all it does is tell you how to make a bootable usb but not where to get the .iso

When I put my usb drive stick, I dont get my usb name on the boot manager. Instead I get something called "Linpus lite". When I click it…. it just shows my "acer" boot page and doesnt open anything. What should I do??
