  1. Great Video, very concise, and easy to follow. Thanks. Good Job.

  2. All you had to do was countersink screws through the side and front, bondo, and paint. Good as new! Bye.

  3. 3:36 "Nail in the screws" 🤣😂🤣

  4. Exactly what I needed to know.

  5. Yeah I don’t have all of that to start with and it’s from my room door like the frame from where the door knob is at is completely broken any easier ideas??

  6. Good procedures for the wood, but you missed the guard bolt. The strike plate opening is too big.

  7. Awesome, Thanks for your clear help. I'm a new subscriber.

  8. Thanks for sharing , im learning something today

  10. Very good work! How much does this kind of work cost?

  11. Easy peasy DIY if you have $2100 in workbench setup and equipment

  12. Just got robbed yesterday. Door got kicked in. Ugh I'm already so busy and now I have to fix it UGHHHHH. Nothing was stolen though, I'm broke.

  13. Just like my dad, you make it look easy.

  14. The filler pieces are not needed and the pre-fabricated jamb can be bought already assembled for either the left of right side. There's no need to build the jamb from raw materials from scratch.

  15. Excellent video! Very instructional. No nonsense. Thank you.

  16. can u come to my house fix this

  17. If you don't have a table saw or any of those power tools. All I have is a circular saw and a standard electric battery power drill. Could I still do that kind of work. With those two power tools. Or should I just get a contractor instead. I've never installed a door jamb before. And I'd like to do it on my own because it would be something fun to do and it would be a cool project to do I really like carpentry I just don't have the tools. Or the money to go out and buy those power tools like the table saw I don't have a miter saw. Do you have any advice.

  18. This was a very thorough explanation and excellent visual of what you did. Regardless of what, in other opinions, may or may not have been “better” or “necessary” etc..;
    this video was very informative.
    Thanks.

  19. I'm glad I watched this, I was about to make a very bad mistake. Thanks for the information.

  20. Would you ever put spray foam instead of wood behind the strike plat on the frame of the the door? This is what they did to my door my maintenance men and they said it's secure?

  21. It’s called a lawsuit, lol
