Very informative video, but I have one question. It seems like you only put spacers in at the long edge of the boards. Shouldn't there be spacers on every wall?
Very nice….question…is there ever an issues when starting opposite the entrance and finding that the room or wall is not square to the doorway and the flooring is now not even but angled to the door and wall…

I’m confused on the 2inch gap part, did he take it out when he finished and then used the quarter round to cover? Or did he do something else?
what difference would it make if i use full planks to cover the floor, its just for looks or thats how it needs to be?
Excellent presentation. Very clean work and better than many "professionals." I have done several flooring installation in my own home, friends, etc., materials include hard wood, laminate and bamboo, and I can say that the work shown in the video is very professional.

Why did you only add spacers to the one wall when starting laying the laminate? Why do you not add spacers to the other wall also at the beginning?
Damn dude 😂😂 it's been a while since I installed a floor but few things here! You didn't tell them how to find square, do a rough lay and look for weird ends (like your 3" closet piece), didn't maintain your spacing around the room, didn't mention screwing down the sub floor for squeeks first, and there is a proper way to lay a floor. It's going perpendicular to your floor joists. (Which concrete for you but notable for others)
Outside of that, great instructional video for beginners!
Side note on the concrete floor, make sure to take note what direction you're nailing your 1/4 round and your finger placement. End up with a nail ricochet back into your fingertip 😅

If you're doing this project just bite the bullet and buy the mitre saw and jig saw and oscillating tool. Just do it. It'll make it so much easier.
